ClickWorker – Perform Small Tasks For Small Payments
“ClickWorker” is yet another website that you can use to work from home by performing small tasks for small payments. Specifically, you will be performing tasks that still require real human interaction to complete in order to assist with machine learning.
While you use the ClickWorker website, you will be performing hundreds of small tasks for hundreds of different companies from all over the world.
What does the work involve?
You will be performing tasks such as data entry, proof-reading, surveys, web research and information verification.
Other tasks include creating voice recordings, translation services, taking photos of facial expressions or even writing texts that companies can use text. You may even be asked to help assist with providing voice and facial recognition.
For web research tasks you may be asked to help companies find information such as competitors opening hours, physical addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and even potential customers.
Ultimately, every task is different and depends on what the client requires.
Is it for everyone?
Yes, anyone can work at ClickWorker assuming they pass a test for every client they wish to perform Micro-Tasks for.
More complex tasks require you to pass more complex tests, but a bit of simple common sense should ensure you can perform Micro-Tasks for most clients.
Can anyone apply?
No, firstly you must be 18 years or older to apply. They often require identification so if you are under 18 it’s not worth the risk in applying.
Secondly, you must reside in certain countries (these vary depending on their need for workers). It’s always worthwhile to keep checking when positions for your specific country are available.
Finally, you should have skills that clients may be looking for. For example, if a client requires translation services you will need to know a second language.
Is there enough work to make a living from?
No. We have been using ClickWorker for 3 months now and finding clients to work for is like entering a lottery. It’s very hit and miss to find work that you are accepted for.
Getting work also depends on your location at the time. For example, you will struggle to get a job for a client in California if you are based in the Mid-West of the USA.
So, what can you earn using ClickWorker?
Like other MicroTask platforms such as Appen, Social Advertising Machine or SurveyJunkie you will never make a fortune by completing MicroTasks. You will only ever earn a basic hourly rate.
These sort of jobs are ideal for people who want to earn a bit of extra money, or who cannot earn money any other way.
What you can actually earn is a bit of a grey area. According to ClickWorkers own website:
“The amount you are paid varies depending on the project and the description of the task”
“anywhere from cent amounts to two-digit euro sums”
“anywhere from cent amounts to two-digit euro sums”
“The fee is calculated according to the estimated average processing time as well as the level of difficulty, the length of the text, the amount of research involved or special knowledge skills required to fulfill the job”
“The faster the job gets done, the higher the targeted “hourly wage”
Confused? We were at first, but after 3 months of working using the ClickWorker platform we have found you will generally earn between $5 – $10 maximum per hour.
The bottom line
If you’re looking for a genuine company to make money with by completing MicroTasks then ClickWorker could be for you. Just don’t ever expect to calculate the quanitiy of work you will get or what you will get paid for doing that work. It’s very confusing.
Our Rating
The quality of the overall service and the job is fair. Tasks are often relatively straight-forward but the frequency they come along is poor and what you can earn from them is often a mystery.
Totally free so we have to give a top rating here.
Keeping a regular check on when applications open or when MicroTasks become available is key here. Overall we would rate availability as average.

Clickworker is trustworthy, don’t hear people that try to scam them.
Hi,
I’m a clickworker member since April of 2020,but active since November the same year.
I’ve earned about 400€ for a single month of part time work(about 60 hours of work),and it seems to me verry good.
Also I got my first payment 7 January without any issues.
I read here post saying,”they banned me”,”they didn’t pay me”,etc.
Ofcourse they won’t pay you if you try trick them with VPNs or creating multiple accounts.
They operate more than 15 years and they are legit for legit users,no for people try scam them.
The only bad thing they should work on is their support!
I have contacted them via email since 2 January and until now I haven’t got a reply.
Their Facebook page replies very quick thow but hasn’t access in all areas of our account.
Edit: Support now works fine and replies on time. The above issues could have happened because of the Christmas vocation.Well done.

Payment after permanently suspended
Dear clickworker.com Community
I was permanently suspended in working at clickworker this week. And I would like to know when will my payment for the service I rendered be paid since in the agreements, I should still be paid. Please see below screen shot of the part of the agreement. I also emailed the Clickworker Support about it, but there’s no reply. Can you please address this issue since I can’t no longer work in clickworker because I’ve been suspended forever.
Hoping to hear from you soonest. clickworker.com
I post this in clickworker Facebook group. And they blocked me in the group and didn’t answer the inquiry. All my sleepless night will be wasted if the more than 900€ would not be created to me. I worked hard for that.

Data Scam
To be short. My wife did all the work, which was absolutely stupid – to take 3 selfies and do 3 videos of her face. Basically sharing the personal info, and after the uploading, the site started working very bad. The money earned you can’t withdraw.
Total waste of time…

Clickworker itself is small micro-tasks for small pay but… if you grind away at it, you can make a decent amount. This is not for the casual person who pops in once or twice a week to do a few things, you have to stay on it, get in on the good tasks, and keep on plugging away at it. in 4 weeks, I am almost at $70 on Clickworker. Partner UHRS is kind of where the money is… it has higher paying tasks called HitApps, some you can jump right in and some you have to qualify for first. UHRS itself requires a qualification test through Clickworker to gain access, you must pass the qualification test. If you do not, they now allow you to retake in 90 days, if they are allowing it. UHRS qualification only comes up once every few months, so if you are on clickworker, keep your eyes open on the assessments. UHRS is where there is better money, but it’s still a grind, it just comes faster it seems, in the same 4 weeks on UHRS I have made $137. Overall, not a bad little side hustle to do in your down time or time off… can’t sleep at 3am? login and click some stuff, make some money… would it pay your rent or car note? not hardly, unless you grind it out every day, 8hrs a day, like a regular job, which this is not. It’s a nice side job for some extra cash. Enjoy!

Fine… until you need support.
I’ve had to completely revise my previous review in light of new experiences with Clickworker.
Clickworker is legitimate and is a good way of making a few extra Euros a month… but if something goes wrong and you need support, their customer services team are GLACIALLY slow at responding.
My account was suspended due to “suspicious activity” last month and I was invited to get in touch to sort it out. I believe the suspicious activity was that I had connected via a VPN on some occasions and not on others. Not against the rules, but gives the impression I’m in two countries at once. I replied to the email and got no reply. Having read similar stories on the forums and in anticipation of being asked for ID I replied again two weeks later, this time attaching photos of documents proving my address. I have still not heard back now 5 weeks later. I realise I’m really the product rather than the customer, but this level of support is just unacceptable.
I can only say to give Clickworker a try… but don’t expect any sort of support if anything goes wrong. Sadly, in that department, they are nothing short of completely hopeless.

no payment, no nothing…
after my first surveys were accepted my account was suddenly suspended. Clickworker claimed that:
“we discovered a discrepancy between the data provided on registration and your connection data. We therefore kindly ask you to send us some documents that are suitable to prove:
1) your identity (copy of your passport, ID, drivers licence, etc.) and
2) your address as stated in your profile (copy of a letter, parcel, bill, bank statement, etc. that has this address on it and is not older than 2 months).
[how can these prove any of the above ???…]
Whatever documents you choose, please make sure that
1) they have a suitable size and quality, so that we can properly read and understand the informations on it
2) they are fully visible (no cut parts or edges) – feel free to blacken information that is not important for us”
I sent them the requested documents, but hid all other data. Not good enough…
Clickworker service replied:
“Since we have to check your complete name and expiry date, please send us another copy of your ID on which this information is visible. Please also make sure that the photo or scan is not so blurred.
In order to fully verify and reactivate your account, we would ask you to send us also another proof of your address, because we cannot accept online documents as an address verification. Please send us a photo or scan of a physical letter / package / bill sent to you recently. It has to show your name, address and a date or stamp no older than two months. Thank you for your understanding.”
By now, i have asked for them to pay pay the money i already earned and clean all my data after that.
No answer, though i sent a second email requesting the same.
All is quite strange. Besides they kept the money i earned, I feel like clickworker was, somehow, part of a “stealing identities” scheme (otherwise, why would they want so many personal information and documents????
Beware!!!

I am sharing this information to whoever has any doubt on payments from Clickworker.
In my case, after the payable amount crossed $5 there was an invoice, but never received it into my Paypal. After approaching, I got reply from CW that Paypal has rejected the payment. By that time Paypal was working with very less staff due to Covid-19 and it took a month to set right Paypal account.
Then CW insisted on a mail in a particular fashion from Paypal, which took nearly 2 months since Paypal support team was not working. After getting the mail from Paypal, I sent the information to CW and received all pending payments together. So if your first payment is getting delayed, there could be some problem, please get it solved with patience. Of course Clickworker needs to update certain information to new joinees.
And the payment rates from UHRS, it is of course very less but it is a balance between demand and supply. Rates are known prior to working on the project, and working on them is not mandatory.

SCAM!!!
I spent about 3 hours doing ever survey, one of which took 20 Min and then the ‘code’ to get credit never worked.
The next day my account was deactivated with no reason given. Massive Scam!

Nothing but exploitative pay on this site.
Doesn’t even pay close to minimum wage anymore. Even if you manage to slog your way though the usually broken qualification, you will then be met by pay that is usually about $3 an hour. If you manage to go to fast or get a few questions wrong you will then be removed from that project.
UHRS makes up 90% of the work on this site and now most jobs pay pathetic amounts, there have even been jobs that have reduced their pay by over 60% recently.
Clickworker has also massively over-recruited. When a job appears it is usually gone in minutes, most of the time you cant even pass the qualification before the work is gone.
Unless you enjoy working for pennies and being incredibly frustrated by broken projects don’t bother with this site.

The advertisement alone is a warning sign – ”no skills required.” Which means, no qualification and no pay. Remember, to earn a decent income you must have either skills and experience or fitness and strength (which is also a skill and not everyone has it.) Next thing that makes me cautious – they want all of my personal data as soon as I apply. Not too early, gang of scammers? You would need data for a contract if we ever have one but immediately as long as I see the page?
No skills mean no qualification, and no qualification means no pay – that is elementary logic. People who do have skills cannot apply them because they are not required, and what can those without skills do? They are not translators, not programmers and not graphic designers – what work can be given to them? By the way, this time the scammers scammed themselves confirming they are looking for unskilled workforce i.e. modern slaves. Uber is notorious for its treatment of employees (bogus self employed) but at least these employees know their work, they only have substandard conditions. The scammers go one step further – looking for substandard employees (unskilled). And that is exactly the reason why you can get lost. I am not looking for unskilled slave work, just exposing scammers.
Update: There are articles trying to make a point that this ”work” is not scam. Since some other scammers (such as Appen) are famous for trying to silence criticism by censorship, I wrote a skeptical and a little bit critical, but otherwise decent comment under one of these articles AND YES EXACTLY AS I EXPECTED CLICKWORKER SCAMMERS ARE A CARBON COPY OF APPEN SCAMMERS AND ALSO FOOLISH ENOUGH THINKING THEY CAN SILENCE CRITICISM BY CENSORING COMMENTS TO THEIR FAKE PAOPAGANDA ARTICLES. SHOULD BE LOCKED IN THE SAME CELL. CENSORSHIP IS FASCISM.

They’re a bunch of copy-paste scammers, and as you can see from their responses, they insult people with complaints by responding to people that give them good reviews, saying that we complain without getting help, when we actually do ask for help only to not get a response. I got banned for no reason, and it does seem like it’s for no reason, because I did ask for help, and I didn’t get any response. Don’t trust this website.
Update: hey guys, guess what? I actually tried to reach out to them again like they suggested, and even went to their Facebook, and do you know what happened? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I’m still banned. Seriously, don’t trust these people. “We look forward to you giving us the opportunity to help you.” What a joke.
Update: I HAD provided everything they asked for, my username. They asked me for my social security number, my address, and a lot of personal things. Now they’re accusing me of not sending anything to them through trustpilot. Do not trust them under any circumstances.
